Nifty that.īut the main quest? Couldn't care less. And the Companions quests were fun, first as a 'prove yourself' thing, then the special magical best thingy, then the ending (which I really liked) and me becoming the Harbinger. The Imperial Quest I cared about A LOT - I wanted order to prevail! And the multiple fort taking over was fun in its way.
You know, go get thing A from person Q to go to place K and use it to open D whatever. Thing is (and maybe this is a function of age, I don't know) I'm fairly sure the rest of the quests are going to be the same as all the other ones, in this case, fetch me quests. I mean, I sort of already know the story, at least as has been hinted - though I imagine there are some twists I haven't seen (I JUST got to the Wizard College and have talked to the Orc Librarian about stuffs). Sure, it's nice - I'm the Dragonborn, yadda yadda. I'm about halfway through the actual main quest, however, and I'm realizing that, truly, I don't actually care. I did a whole bunch of side quests and other stuff (for example, I really enjoyed the 'Thane' quests for Whiterun and Morthal). See, I finished the Companions and the Imperial main quest lines.
I have officially reached this point in Skyrim.
